18/19.3.2023 - We travelled with Botha and Cheetah to Austria to participate at IHA Premstätten and the Special Show of RRCÖ Graz-Schwarzlsee and proudly bring back a new champion title for Botha as well as two more candidatures for the Austrian champion title:

***Botha, 18.03.2023, Ch Class Exc 1, CACA. CACIB, BOS***
and therefore fulfills the requirements for the 
****C.I.B. International Champion****

***Botha, 19.03.2023, Ch Class Exc 1, CACA, Club Show Winner Graz-Schwarzlsee 2023***.
****and is now in the waiting year for the Austrian Champion****

We are very proud of our Botha. Cheetah is for the first time ever on a dog show. 
She mastered her show debut with flying colors and came back with the following results:

It is a pleasure to see that she leaves the trip completely unimpressed and that she presents herself funny and pleased to the judge also in the ring, even if a complete stranger shows her.

March - What we had hoped for and what Coco and Sambo had known for a long time has now been confirmed at the ultrasound examination at the English vet. Coco is going to be a mother and we are incredibly happy!


We wish her a wonderful pregnancy and a complication-free birth. And we are already looking forward to the first visit :-).

09.-12. February - We have planned a trip to Budapest/Hungary for a dog show. But it turns out differently than expected. Coco from the English Kennel Rococorij of Claire Garner is ready for mating in these days. So we enjoy the time with Claire, and Coco and Sambo are in love. After a successful mating we are now looking forward to the future hoping that there will be a bunch of puppies in the Garner home soon.

2022

November 7th, 2022 - Our flight to Stockholm has not remained without consequences. The little black girl should move in with us and so we went to Stockholm again, but this time by car, to pick up Jupi-Li's Magnolia Rusape called 'Cheetah'. We are overjoyed to have a Sambo daughter in our home and thank Rica from the bottom of our hearts for the trust she has put in us. We are very much looking forward to what is coming.

September 4th, 2022 - We fly to Stockholm and visit Kennel Jupi-Lis to see the puppies of Hekla and Sambo and are completely delighted. We would love to kidnap one of the young ladies after a ride with the rental car ;-).



August 27th & 28th, 2022 - We travel with Botha to Lucerne, Switzerland.

3 days of show, starting with the national dog show on Saturday morning.


Botha gets the V1 CAC in the champion class and achieves his next champion title: Swiss Show Champion!!!!!. He also becomes best male!!!!

We are incredibly proud of how well he takes part in everything. Even if he was tired somehow and he trotted a bit tired through the ring at the following shows.

We are very proud and happy about the result.

August 13th, 2022 - Travel plans for Inzing in Austria. We visit the club show of the RRCÖ with Botha. A very successful show in beautiful location. 

Botha achieves an excellent second place in Champion class (3 entries) and is awarded with Reserve CACA (counts full) , so he achieved his first candidacy for the Austrian Champion with his first start in Austria. 


With this he starts his sixth Champion title. We are proud of our boy.

August 6th & 7 th, 2022 - Off to Oldenburg to the International Dog Show. Botha is placed with excellent 4th on both days. We are happy with the nice judges reports and enjoyed the time with dear exhibitors. Sambo and Emil spent a pampering weekend with grandpa and Botha went with us to the Wadden Sea :-).

Off to Munich - Botha started on July 30th 2022 at the Community Breed Dog Show in Hallbergmoos. His result makes us mighty proud. In a big champion class with 5 males he achieves:


Exc 1  - CAC Anw. dt. Ch VDH, CAC Anw. dt. Ch Club ELSA and becomes second best male!


So with this he started another Champion title: German Champion Club ELSA :-)

Full of pride we present the dear seven :-)


Kali and Sambo's offspring from the Danish Kennel Thukela is now ready for the big world. Madame Orange will continue to stay with mom, which makes us very happy.


We hope very much to meet the whole gang!!!

On July 23rd 2022,  7 females and 6 males have seen the light of day in the Swedish Kennel Jupi-Lis. We are very proud of wonderful Hekla, who did a great job. Unfortunately two of the girls took their angel wings right away, RIP you little mice!


We congratulate and wish Kennel Jupi-Lis all the best for the next days, rest and a wonderful puppy time!

27.05.2022 - Here they are :-). We are very happy and proud that beautiful Kali became a mother of 8 little miracles. There is one cock in the basket and seven girls. Unfortunately one girl  did not make it, all the best little lady, RIP! Kali is taking excellent care of the dear seven. We thank Marianne, Frank and Dorte from Kennel Thukela for their trust in Sambo and wish now a good recovery and a wonderful puppy time.

May 24th, & 25th, 2022 - Busy times for Sambo. Although planned long in advance and everything seemed to be nicely spread over the year, somehow the heatings all fall on the same period. We had all thought differently. So we have to wait for the next heat. But the progesterone values gave Sambo a little break and so Sambo will be mated with Coco from England today after all. We thank Claire for her trust in Sambo and are looking forward to a hopefully positive ultrasound soon.

May 21st, 2022 -  Next stop in Lübeck (DE). Sambo is mated with the beautiful Hekla from Sweden. Thank you to Rica from Swedish kennel Jupi -Lis for trusting in our Sambo. We are now looking forward to a positive ultrasound. We are very exited about this combination.

May 21st, 2022 - A beautiful trip to Lac Genval in Belgium, enjoying quality time with the family.

On Saturday May 21st, 2022 Botha started in Wieze (Belgium) on the CAC Show. His results are Excellent 1 in Champion Class and Reserve CAC. Proud of our younster.

May 8th, 2022 - We are delighted and proud to announce the arrival of the glorious 7 little wonders at Rhodesian Ridgeback kennel Canis Verde (DE). Botha now for the first time is a proud daddy of three girls and four boys. Ayuma gave birth the lovely little ones and takes care of them in a wonderful way. Birgit, thank you so much again for your trust in our Botha.

Now it is time to rest and enjoy!

May 7th, 2022 - On Spezial Rassehunde-Ausstellung in Hoisdorf (DE) Botha gained another Candidature point for German Champion VDH.

He was awarded Exc 2/3 in CH Class and Reserve Anw. Dt. Ch. VDH (which counts full) and Res. CAC Club E.L.S.A.

Botha is now also Best in Group Winner (BIG 1) and ******Champion of Poland******

Botha's trip to Limoges, France

July 10th & 11th 2021 National & International Dogshow in Limoges, Frankreich:
Botha earns a CACS and another CACIB

Our trip to Limoges was worth it. Even if it was unexpectedly close, because the ferry connection was not as speedy as expected. For the national show we arrived an hour too late, but just in the right moment. Judging of the Ridgeback started exactly 5 minutes after our arrival.
The following day we started our journey a little earlier. This time there was no delay, neither with us, nor in the ring. These are our results:

06.07.2021 Nimba's & Sambo's offspring arrived:
Welcome to  the world! Puppy happiness in High Beech Kennel

On July 6th 2021 the first Rhodesian Ridgeback litter of Nimba El-Faiyum and C.I.B. MCh Wakati Mzuri Jazua Sambo was born in High Beech Kennel, the Netherlands.

Now 7 boys and 6 girls - all with heavy birth weights - populate the whelping box. 
Nimba gave birth without any complications and takes care of her puppies very devotedly. 

We are very proud and congratulate Dick and Kim on this beautiful litter. So far all are correct in standard, except one bitch with three crowns and one with a little longer box. 

We wish all the best for the next weeks and are very much looking forward to the first visit with the proud father.

Very proud to announce that my trip to Chemnitz with Botha has been very sucessful. Our younster started for first time in Germany in intermediate class and he gained his first point for the title  German Champion VDH.

Very proud to announce that my trip to France with Botha has been very sucessful. Our younster started for first time in  intermediate class and he gained his first point for the title  C.I.B. International Champion.

May 6/7th, 2021 Mating News:

Nimba El Faiyum & C.I.B. MCH Wakati Mzuri Jazua Aike

Very proud to announce sucessful mating between NImba and Sambo "C.I.B. MCh Wakati Mzuri Jazua Aike". 
Successful, natural mating between both dogs has been done on May 6th & 7th, 2021. 

A positive ultrasound has confirmed successful mating in the meantime.

Dear Dick, dear Kim, we thank you both for the trust that you have placed in Sambo.

With a lot of exitement we are now looking forward to a lot of healthy puppies,  who are expected to arrive on July 8th, 2021.

Very proud we announce having found a perfect match in Bree "Ch Here Comes The Sun Qwandoya" and Sambo "C.I.B. MCh Wakati Mzuri Jazua Aike". 
Successful mating between both dogs has been done on March 7th, 2021. 

A positive ultrasound has confirmed successful mating in the meantime.

Dear Hanka, dear Nikola, we thank you both for the trust that you have placed in Sambo.

With a lot of exitement we are now looking forward to a lot of healthy puppies, who are expected to arrive on May 7th, 2021.

Welcome U-litter for Zindikoma Ridgebacks - Quibali Zindikoma Zindikoma & MCH Wakati Mzuri Jazua Aike

Today we are very proud and extremly happy welcoming the arrival of 10 lovely Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies in kennel Zindikoma Rhodesian Ridgebacks in Belgium.
There are 4 girls, one of them very sadly did not make it,  and 6 boys.
So far they all seem correct. 

We are very proud of Quibali who is doing an outstanding, excellent job and wish all the best for the upcoming weeks!!!

January 1st and 29th 2021 Sucessful mating and confirmed pregnancy for Quibali & Sambo

On January 1st, 2021 mating between Quibali and Sambo took place. Quibali is following into her mother's footsteps and we are very proud that Gilles Melis, owner of the Belgian kennel Zindikoma Rhodesian Ridgebacks, has once again placed his trust in Sambo.
Quibali and Sambo have already met each other on numerous walks and meetings. The chemistry is right without question :-).
And that was also confirmed on January 29, 2021. Pregnancy has been confirmed and we expect a whole bunch of puppies in Zindikoma Rhodesian Ridgeback kennel, around March 5th, 2021.

November 7th, 2020 Shooting with Sandra Felde/ Sanfte Seelen Photography

Early in the morning we met Sandra/ Sanfte Seelen Fotografie in Cologne today. Both of our Rhodesian Ridgebacks were to be photographed. Sambo and, for the first time, Botha, our youngster. It was just great. Everything was just right.

Sandra took wonderful pictures of both dogs. And now you can see very clearly: The two couldn't be more different ;-). Botha's pictures will of course have their own page and as soon as there is a little more time, we will be proud to publish them here too.

October 9th, 2020 Mafinga Rhodesian Ridgebacks: Welcome J-litter for Mafinga Rhodesian Ridgebacks - Mafinga Inghinn Ijaba & MCH Wakati Mzuri Jazua Aike

Today we very delighted and very happy welcome the arrival of 12 lovely Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies in kennel Mafinga Rhodesian Ridgebacks in the Netherlands.
There are 7 girls and 5 boys (one x multicrown, one x ridgeless). 
We are very proud of Inghinn who is doing a outstanding, excellent job and wish all the best for the upcoming weeks!!!

September 12th & 13th, 2020 - A brand new Championtitel - Dutch Champion - Trip to Berlin Ludwigsfelde and to Zwolle, Netherlands with Sambo and Botha

On Friday evening we packed our stuff and headed to Berlin Ludwigsfelde, Landhotel Löwenbruch. There the special breed exhibition was held by RR Club E.L.S.A. .
Botha started in youth class and achieved an excellent 2 nd placement  -Res. Anwartschaft Dt. Jgd. Ch. and Res. Jgd. CAC Club E.L.S.A.- with an outstanding judgement report. Sambo did not take part of the show, as he is already German CH Club E.L.S.A and  German Champion VDH.

After the exhibition we headed to the Netherlands. We participated with both dogs on sunday at the Outdoor CAC Show in Zwolle.  
Both achieved a first placement in their class (youth and champion).  
MCh Wakati Mzuri Jazua Aike 'Sambo' continues with best Male, gets therefore the CAC and is also Best of Breed (BOB). 
With the fourth CAC that Sambo gained in the Netherlands,  he now is also Dutch Champion, which makes us very proud.
Due to Corona there was no main ring program.
September 5th, 2020 - Wakati Mzuri Mabou's Botha achieves Crufts Qualifikation for 2021

We have been with Wakati Mzuri Mabou's Botha 'Botha' in France and visited the wonderful Chateau Brognon and the exhibition held there, with Crufts Qualifcation for 2021. 
Our big Baby achieves, with his nine months, the Crufts Qualification and we are very happy with him.   
September 4th, 2020 - Mafinga Inghinn Ijaba' s Echo is positive

Very happy to announce that mating between Inghinn "Mafinga Inghinn Ijaba" and Sambo "MCh Wakati Mzuri Jazua Aike" has been successful. 

The Echo confirmed what we had hoped for. Inghinn is pregnant. We wish all the best for the upcoming time of pregnancy. The litter is expected around October 12th, 2020.

August 10th and 11th, 2020 - Mafinga Inghinn Ijaba visits us

We are proud and happy to announce a perfect match between Inghinn "Mafinga Inghinn Ijaba" and Sambo "MCh Wakati Mzuri Jazua Aike". 


Thanks for your lovely visit Martine and Inghinn. It was a pleasure to see how the dogs liked each other and that we can announce now an instinctproof and succesful mating on August 10th and August 11th, 2020 in our garden.

June 10th 2020 - Homologation Champion Title - France - Champion des expositions nationales

We are happy to announce that the Societe Centrale Canine (SCC) in France has now awarded Sambo the title Champion des expositions nationales.

On March 2nd, 2019 we received the first CACS at a national show. The last required CACS was awarded to Sambo on March 7th, 2020 in France.
So Sambo achieved this title in just one year, for which he would have had a maximum of 2 years.
April/May 2020
April 2020 - Cancellation of mating between Sambo & Eiwa due to COVID-19

In September 2018 Jaruska Podhorska/ Kennel Dragons of Highlands, Czech Republic asked for mating between Sambo and Eiwa, which means we have been looking forward to this mating for unbelievable two years.
The COVID-19 pandemic is omnipresent and, due to the border closures, does not allow any trips to Germany or the Czech Republic.
For Eiwa this would be her first mating, which is why insemination is out of the question.
Now we have to put up with a heavy heart that unfortunately this mating will not happen.
We wish the Kennel Dragons of Highland all the best for Eiwa's first mating and great puppy luck for the mating with the 'alternative' male from the Czech Republic!!

It also looks like this story didn't tell the last chapter :-).

March 20th, 2020 - Sambo and Meli are proud parents

We are proud to announce that Sambo and Meli have become proud parents of 12 healthy puppies. We wish the Amelisima Kennel all the best and a wonderful puppy time. There are 7 boys and 5 girls, all with ridge and 2 crowns. More information and pictures on Amelisima.cz.
March 7th, 2020 - A brand new champion title - France - Champion des expositions nationales

First of all, we assumed that Sambo had already obtained all the necessary CACS for this French title. But the devil is in the details. Only CACS (= best male of the breed) can be counted at national shows. At first I also counted the international CACS, which unfortunately cannot be included for this title.
Well, now we finally have all the necessary national CACS together.
Requirement:
  1. 6 CACS (best male of the breed) must be achieved
    1. Thereof 1 CACS must be obtained from a national speciality breed exhibition (there are only a few of these in France annually)
    2. At least 3 different French judges must have judged
    3. The TAN test (Test d'Aptitudes Naturelle) must be successfully completed
    4. A placement must be achieved at the French club show, which takes place only once a year (Sambo achieved place 2 of 12 in the open class in 2019)
    5. And all of this has to be done within 2 years, otherwise everything will expire
    6. A DNA Profil needs to be stored at SCC (ADN) and all required health certificates need to be provided (HD, OCD, ED, DM, Locus D, Locus B, etc.)
Our trip to Valence was worth it. And little Botha could also trot through the ring.

January 19, 2020 - women visit
On January 19th, 2020 Amelie Canis Regalis 'Meli' from Czech Kennel Amelisima visits us. The first mating takes place in the evening at 6:00 p.m. On January 20th and on January 21st, 2020 another free, instinct-proof and harmonious mating takes place in our garden.
It is a pleasure to see how well all four-legged friends and of course the two-legged ones got along. Now we are looking forward to the ultrasound in February 2020. 
January 17th, 2020 - Family addition - A puppy in the house

For a long time we have stood firm and strictly to the dictation imposed on ourselves. Three children, two dogs and a horse - that's enough! Even if Sambo's offspring is just wonderful... a third dog is currently out of question!
When Britta from Kennel Wakati Mzuri received a rejection for Mr. Beige, 14 hours before the pickup, we started thinking again. Back and forth ... everything goes, everything goes ...
We planned our taut, organized everyday life a little differently, organized it in the office and were able to bring Mr. Beige to us at ten weeks.
Its official name is Wakati Mzuri Mabou's Botha. Botha is now one of us.
His mother is the Multi-champion Wakati Mzuri Himaya Mabou, breeding bitch in the Kennel Wakati Mzuri. She lives in Cologne with Ingrid and Bernd Schröder.
Botha's father is the Danish CH male Saimon's Praide J'Ace of Ace called 'Ace' by Caroline Larsen from Denmark. Ace has such a rare pedigree that his ancestors had to be created in the DZRR database.

So proud and lucky. Abeni makes Sambo a father for the second time. She gives birth to 15 puppies.
And again happiness and suffering are close together, 2 unfortunately did not make it. 
June 27th, 2019 - Belgium - Zindikoma Ridgebacks 

Today we proudly announce that Sambo became a father for the first time. Liguni gives birth to 12 puppies. 4 girls and 8 boys.

So much happened. We have had many great and new experiences. Sambo is a wonderful dog and we incredibly happy to have him. Dear Kennel Wakati Mzuri, thank you for entrusting us to Sambo.
Sambo has become the proud father of two wonderful litters and now counts 24 children as his own. Further matings are pending.
We wish you all a wonderful Christmas, relaxing days and a happy new year in 2020! All puppy parents a lot of fun and fun in the rearing of their dogs!
In addition, next year we promise to describe the current events more quickly.

Today Amelie Canis Regalis ' Meli ' visited us. Meli and Sambo got along perfectly right away and wedding was celebrated. An ideal progesterone value, a successful mating and an in-love but due to the temperatures exhausted Sambo, who now awaits-together with us-expectantly and excited the next four weeks. The ultrasound will then reveal that hopefully a few weeks later many little Amelisima's will enrich Jana's home and her family's at 'Amelisimia' kennel in Czech Republic. 

We were again in the neighboring countries and achieved some nice results with outstanding judgement reports. Special highlight: The children and daddy flew to the last exhibition place to Copenhagen/ Denmark while I took the car and the ferry with the dogs. Thus, the dog shows are never boring for the children and the common "quality time" is simply unforgettable.

Today is the day. We met with Tajamali Abeni 'Abeni' and got married. Perfect progesterone values, a very beautiful mating and a completely in love and completely exhausted Sambo, who now looks blessedly and curiously forward to May 28th, 2019. Then the ultrasound will hopefully show that soon little Hadiya's will be born at Susanne and Christian Wolter's place at kennel 'Hadiya Rhodesian Ridgebacks'.

Long awaited and finally we met with Njanga Njora El Faiyum 'Liguni' and celebrated wedding between Liguni and Sambo. A successful mating lets us now look forward to probably the 20th May 2019. This is the scheduled ultrasound appointment to see if the mating between Liguni and Sambo has been successful. If so in Belgium small Zindikoma's will enrich the home of Gilles Melis at kennel 'Zindikoma Ridgebacks'. We can proudly say that Sambo has had his first time mating now as a stud dog.

With the children and the dogs I drive to Amiens, France. On the exhibition grounds one highlight chases the other. First we meet many familiar faces, then the children are allowed to drive a carriage drawn by donkeys in the exhibition hall next door and ride on donkeys through the riding hall located there and I almost miss my appearance in the ring. The BIS competition takes place the next day, but we have to be at the carnival parade in Bonn.

Today Sambo, Viola and me met lovely Njanga Njora El Faiyum 'Liguni' and her delightful daughter Quibali. Instead of meeting at the Zindikoma Rhodesian Ridgebacks place in Belgium (of course we have been there already) we met each other in the Netherlands at Doggy Dating Looserplats Budel-Dorplein. A huge compound area with beach and lake. Thanks Gilles for the get-together, great spot, lots of fun pictures - all available on facebook. Looking really forward to the next meeting, which will then be the wedding date.

Today Sambo and me visited beautiful Tajamali Abeni from Kennel Hadia Rhodesian Ridgebacks at her place in wonderful Elbtal-Dorchheim. What a splendid spot. On facebook all fun pictures are available. Susanne and Christian, thanks for your hospitality - great to see the birthplace and well prepared nusery ground for the pups-to-be. Furthermore we were very happy to meet the breeders of Abeni, Simone Becher and Matthias Knoth, from kennel Tajamali. We enjoyed the visit very much and I am really looking forward to the next "marriage" meeting.

We are on our way to Douai, France. Viola and Tom accompany Sambo and me - Mats has an important Birthbay Party ahead. A relaxed, funny hotel weekend will stay in our memory with a superb playing yard directly across the Gayant Expo Concerts in Douai, a huge shopping tour in beloved LeClerc and as icing on the cake another CACIB for Sambo and the Best Opposite Sex BOS title.

In marvelous weather, we met Magda early in the morning and walked together into the moor. Fantastic location, wonderful scenery, sensational light, a remarkable, warm and relaxed atmosphere and proudly presented under the heading 'Shooting HUNDErtBlicke', the result: The high art of photography - just recommended!!

We head to the photo shooting to Magdalena Stockschläder HUNDErtBlicke towards Hamburg and are very curious how the weather will be. My six-year-old son Mats accompanies Sambo and me and he is determined to find a bog body in the bog ... if that's what ;-).

So much happened. We have had many great and new experiences. Sambo is a wonderful dog and we incredibly happy to have him. Dear Kennel Wakati Mzuri, Thank you for entrusting us to Sambo.
Sambo has become the proud father of two wonderful litters and now counts 24 children as his own. Further matings are pending.
We wish you all a wonderful Christmas, relaxing days and a happy new year in 2020! All puppy parents a lot of fun and fun in the rearing of their dogs!
In addition, next year we promise to describe the current events more quickly.

Today Amelie Canis Regalis ' Meli ' visited us. Meli and Sambo got along perfectly right away and wedding was celebrated. An ideal progesterone value, a successful mating and an in-love but due to the temperatures exhausted Sambo, who now awaits-together with us-expectantly and excited the next four weeks. The ultrasound will then reveal that hopefully a few weeks later many little Amelisima's will enrich Jana's home and her family's at 'Amelisimia' kennel in Czech Republic.

April/May 2019
We were again in the neighboring countries and achieved some nice results and oustanding judgement reports. Special highlight: The children and daddy flew to the last exhibition place to Copenhagen/ Denmark while I took the car and the ferry with the dogs. Thus, the dog shows are never boring for the children and the common "quality time" is simply unforgettable.

Today is the day. We met with Tajamali Abeni 'Abeni' and got married. Perfect progesterone values, a very beautiful mating and a completely in love and completely exhausted Sambo, who now looks blessedly and curiously forward to May 28th, 2019. Then the ultrasound will hopefully show that soon little Hadiya's will be born at Susanne and Christian Wolter's place at kennel 'Hadiya Rhodesian Ridgebacks'.

Long awaited and finally we met with Nyanga Njora El Faiyum 'Liguni' and celebrated wedding between Liguni and Sambo. A successful mating lets us now look forward to probably the 20th May 2019. This is the scheduled ultrasound appointment to see if the mating between Liguni and Sambo has been successful. If so in Belgium small Zindikoma's will enrich the home of Gilles Melis at kennel 'Zindikoma Ridgebacks'. We can proudly say that Sambo has had his first time mating now as a stud dog.

With the children and the dogs I drive to Amiens, France. On the exhibition grounds one highlight chases the other.
